Diagnostic resources at the IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, such as advanced Brain Imaging (CT, functional MRI, PET), electrophysiology, and electroencephalography, further support patient care.

The center provides comprehensive care for patients with psychotic disorders, from diagnosis and psychopathological and neuropsychological assessments to long-term treatment and follow-up. It specializes in managing schizophrenia, delusional disorders, non-schizophrenic psychoses, including those of toxic and non-toxic origins.

In addition to clinical and research activities, the center contributes to academic programs at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University. It plays a pivotal role in medical and psychology undergraduate and postgraduate education, including psychiatry, neurology, clinical psychology specializations, and the Master’s in Recreational Therapy.
